Featured Novel — Under the Iron Curtain
Set during the final years of Nicolae Ceaușescu’s regime, Under the Iron Curtain tells the story of a Romanian family living under constant surveillance, fear, and political oppression. Blending historical truth with fiction, the novel explores themes of resilience, moral courage, and life under communism—from the Chernobyl disaster to the 1989 Romanian Revolution.
Originally published in Romanian in 2021 by Niculescu Oxford Publishing House, the novel is currently being translated into English to reach a broader audience.
