This past weekend, I had the chance to be at the Grand Prix in Long Beach.
The engines of the Indy cars are much more powerful than the ones in the airplanes I fly 😊
I wonder what is like to drive one of these, the g-force in turns and when you accelerate. How many G’s are the drivers hitting? I’d like to try driving one of these cars sometime, it must be truly amazing.
And I bet it must be much more than a physical affair! It must be mentally draining to go wheel to wheel at those speeds with other cars in turns especially…..
I admire these drivers. In fact, I admire the entire team, for each of these racers. I went in the Paddock and oh my! I got to touch these cars and chat with some people, they’re impressive.
